The largest bedroom in the original house with maple and ash hardwood
flooring installed in the early 1900's, a beautiful Aubusson style area
rug, and premium quality pillow top Queen Size Victorian style bed .
The Glazier Room has its own fireplace, sitting room and large private
bath with a claw foot tub and shower. This Suite is a favorite retreat
for repeat customers that have come from as far away as Europe and close
as Chelsea. Our guests are always amazed at how well they have slept
and how much more relaxed they are after their stay in this magnificent
room named after Frank Glazier, an influential industrialist in Chelsea
at the turn of the 19th Century. You can see the Clock Tower, a local
landmark, from the Glazier Room. It is just part of Glazier's manufacturing
complex that is now a Village icon. This facility made free standing
heating stoves, known as B & B Stoves (Best and Brightest), that
were shipped all around the nation during its heyday.
