Reservation Policies

RATES:

Prices are subject to change without notice until a reservation is accepted.

All published rates assume up to double occupancy in one Queen Bed, private bathroom, and full hot breakfast. Certain Suites: Glazier, Robert’s Penthouse & Carriage House accommodate 1-2 additional guests. There is an additional daily charge of $15 for each additional guest over 2.

CHECK-IN/OUT:

Check-in: Between 4:00 & 7:00 pm*

Check-out: 11:00 am**

* We can usually accommodate earlier check-ins, or would be happy to store your luggage in the event your room is not quite ready. If you plan to arrive after 7:00, please let us know so that we can plan accordingly

** Late check-out can usually be accommodated upon request, depending on bookings

GUESTS

  • Guests with children are welcome at the inn! Infant and Toddler equipment: High Chairs, Booster Seats, Cribs, Playpens, changing tables or protective stair gates that might be needed can be brought in since we have no inventory of these speciality items for our guests.
  • Children under 10 are no charge. Children 10 and over will be charged as additional guests. Please review room accommodations for determining whether children can be accommodated within your selection.
  • Sorry, but no pets are allowed.

BOOKINGS:

  • Bookings made on the same day as the arrival date require live conversation with the Innkeeper (734-475-2244).
  • Special Events, Holiday dates, multi-room and multi-night bookings require a one night deposit or half of the reservation amount, whichever is higher, upon booking.
  • All other rooms will be charged upon arrival.

CANCELLATIONS:

If your travel plans are uncertain, please make a reservation after arrangements for your visit are settled. We are only a 5 room Inn, with a staff of 2. Cancellations are a financial hardship to the business and we appreciate everyone understanding the gravity of confirmed reservations. Every effort will be made to re-book room nights that are cancelled. As acknowledged and agreed to during the reservation submission process, cancellations will be handled as follows:

Special Events, Holiday dates, multi-room and multi-night bookings require a 60 day notice of cancellation notice. Cancellations received more than 60 days ahead will have no charge. Cancellations with less than 60 day notice will be subject to the following:

  • If the room is able to be rebooked, the deposit will be returned
  • If the room is unable to be rebooked, the credit card will be charged in full for the booking.

All other booking dates require a 14 day cancellation. Cancellations received more than 14 days ahead will have no charge. Cancellations with less than 14 day notice will be subject to the following:

  • If the room is able to be rebooked, there will be no charge
  • If the room is unable to be rebooked, the credit card will be charged in full for the booking.

While we sympathize, confirmed bookings have meant others were turned away who wanted the room while it was held for the booking party. As a small local business our guests share in the burden of last minute changes. Our room inventory is just too small to sustain short notice cancellations that cannot be re-booked after we’ve turned others away.

OTHER:

  • Our Inn is a non-smoking facility. Guests who smoke may do so on the grounds of the inn behind the building.
